Inhaled Insulin Manufacturers Find Size Matters After Exubera Committee Review

Inhaled insulin manufacturers are emphasizing smaller devices and easier dosing of their products following the review of Pfizer/Sanofi-Aventis' Exubera by an FDA panel. Exubera is poised to be the first marketed inhaled insulin product. However, Novo Nordisk/Aradigm, Mannkind, Eli Lilly/Alkermes and Kos are all developing their own inhaled insulin products with the hope of garnering a piece of the highly profitable inhaled insulin market. read more
